Can a Kaspa node reach you?
One-click check that combines what MyKAI Node’s in-app Tools tab does — public-IP detection, CGNAT/VPN flags, and a live port probe — so you can verify your setup before installing or debug why your node has no inbound peers.
Defaults to 16111 (Kaspa mainnet). Use 16211 for testnet.
Why this matters
Your Kaspa node helps the network in any mode — it always validates blocks and propagates transactions. Public mode helps more, because other peers can connect to you and use your node as one of their peer slots, which strengthens the network’s reachability. Public mode needs your machine reachable on TCP port 16111from the open internet, and many home setups fail this silently: the router doesn’t forward the port, the ISP puts customers behind shared NAT (CGNAT), or antivirus quietly intercepts the kaspad process.
